WINTER ARC · FIELD GUIDE
Plan three chapters, not ninety perfect days
Content reviewed
Pair daily rules with a concrete result at days 30, 60 and 90.
A rule and a milestone do different jobs
A rule is a repeated action. A milestone is a piece of evidence you want to have by a chapter boundary. For a small project, “check the result of today’s change” is a rule; “a rough working sketch” is a milestone. Completing daily actions does not automatically prove the milestone is finished.
Day 30: make the start repeatable
Choose a small artifact: a page of corrections, a reading place plus a finished section, or a first working sketch. In the milestone workbench, write what you will inspect. Record a short evidence note before marking it complete. A link in plain text is for your reference; this app does not fetch it.
Day 60: inspect one whole path
Review the weekly decisions from the middle chapter. Which change actually carried into the following week? For a writing plan, choose one draft to revise instead of increasing paragraph counts. The evidence might be a before-and-after paragraph and the reason for the change.
Day 90: close with a handover
Write three things: what exists now, what remains unfinished, and where a future plan should begin. Archive the plan after exporting it. The archive retains dates, notes, reviews and milestone evidence. Opening it again makes it the active plan; it does not move the old dates to today.
