Match the PDF paper size in your printer dialog. Choose Actual size or 100%, with one PDF page per sheet. Turn off Fit, Shrink and browser headers. Hardware margins may still clip a border; increase the margin if needed.

Preview fits the screen. The PDF uses the selected physical size. Grid and dot edges are centered within the available writing area; binding space alternates with page parity.

PRINT / MEASURE / WRITE
Good paper starts with a small test.
Check the spacing.
Enable the optional 50 mm ruler and measure it after printing. A shorter or longer line means the printer scaled the page. Light ink may need the Graphite preset on some printers.
Fold it into something.
For an A5 notebook, generate A5 pages, then send the generated PDF straight to Foldbook in a new tab and impose it on A4. You can also select a downloaded PDF manually. Use the 16-page preset as a starting point. Foldbook determines the sheet order; do not apply booklet mode again. Foldbook fits pages inside safe margins, so imposed grid spacing can change. Print the original PDF directly when exact spacing matters.

Will the dots or squares measure exactly 5 mm?
The vector PDF uses physical PDF points converted from millimeters. The printed result depends on your printer settings. Use 100% and verify the optional ruler; a screen preview cannot calibrate a printer. Enabling the ruler reserves a 10 mm footer within the selected margins, so the writing area becomes slightly shorter.
Can I print on both sides?
Yes. Extra binding space alternates between odd and even PDF pages. For normal portrait sheets, try long-edge duplex and test two pages. If you impose the file with Foldbook, follow its short-edge or long-edge instructions instead.
Do you upload or save my paper?
There is no document upload or saved settings record. PDF generation happens in the current tab using a locally hosted library. Reload resets the settings. Ordinary page and library requests still reach the hosting service.
Why are the outside margins slightly wider?
Square and dot grids fit complete intervals, then center the remaining space. This avoids cut-off squares and half dots. The chosen margin is a minimum; extra binding space is reserved before the grid is centered.
Can I use the blank pages for classes or products?
You can use the generated blank sheets for your own projects. They contain no Week / Paper watermark, third-party illustrations or bundled written exercises. A generated sheet does not imply ownership of any content you add.
