Start with the symptom below. Your valid settings remain in the current tab after a failed PDF attempt. Save or export them before reloading if you want to keep them.
The download button is disabled
Check the marked date, year or week-count field. Whole-year mode requires an integer year from 1900 to 2100 and derives its own page count. Dates must be valid Gregorian dates from January 1, 1900 through December 31, 2100. Week count must be an integer from 1 to 54, and the last week’s anchor must stay within the supported years. For example, February 29, 2027 is invalid; February 29, 2028 is valid. A two-week pack anchored on December 31, 2100 runs beyond the supported range.
The faded preview shows the last valid week, not a newly accepted invalid choice. Correct the field or use Reset, which restores the defaults for this visit and does not delete an explicitly saved setup.
I clicked Download but cannot find a file
- Read the status below the button. “Download started” means the browser received a file; it does not confirm where the operating system saved it.
- Check your browser’s download list. On a phone, the PDF may have opened in a viewer; use its Save or Share menu.
- If the browser asks for download permission, make your own choice in that browser dialog. Try a single page before trying 53 pages again.
- If creation reports a failure, try “Download this page only.” To reduce a whole-year pack, switch to consecutive weeks and choose fewer pages. Keep the tab open, or export settings to JSON before you reload.
Repeated clicks can create repeated files. Check the download list before retrying; this tool does not inspect your device’s files.
Dates or edges are missing on paper
First compare the on-screen PDF with the printed page. If the PDF is complete, verify the loaded paper, selected PDF paper size, orientation and scaling. A4 and Letter are not interchangeable. Use the one-page print test and Fit when printer margins crop an actual-size print. Browser “Print webpage” prints the website, not the planner PDF.
Saved settings disappeared or will not restore
Saved settings belong to this browser profile and site address. A different browser, private window, cleared site data, or a change of domain can make them unavailable. Storage may also be blocked. The planner continues to work without storage. Import your JSON backup, or choose fresh settings; Clear removes a damaged saved record.
A JSON file or shared link was rejected
Use an unedited version 1 or 2 settings JSON exported by this tool, under 8 KB. Unknown properties, extra personal data, invalid dates, duplicate link parameters or unsupported values are rejected. Nothing is applied from an invalid input. Export a fresh backup from the original device if possible.
A settings link contains layout choices only. Review it and click Apply to use it. A localhost link cannot open your machine from another device; use a JSON backup during this local preview. See what is saved and shared.
Still stuck?
Try one default week in the planner. Keep the browser’s error text and your paper/orientation choice for a useful bug report, but omit private documents. This guide was reviewed against the tool’s validation and recovery behavior on October 4, 2026; device-specific download menus have not all been tested.
